Government of India has extended the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme for exports by Advance Authorizations (AAs) holders, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), and Export-Oriented Units (EOUs) until February 5, 2025. This extension, issued under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, partially supersedes an earlier notification (No. 32/2024-25) dated September 30, 2024. From February 6, 2025, these categories will no longer be eligible for RoDTEP benefits, while support for other eligible exporters, including those in the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA), will continue as per the existing policy. The notification clarifies the temporary nature of this extension, ensuring that affected exporters can plan accordingly.
