PUBLIC NOTICE No. 106 (RE-2007)/2004-09

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I), RE2004:

In Para 3.2.5 III, the following subparagraph is added at the end.

“Further in order to enable supporting manufacturers, whose names appear in the shipping bills, to import directly, Licensing Authority concerned shall endorse the names of such supporting manufacturers on the certificate as co-licensees.”

Consequently listed supporting manufacturers shall be ‘co-licensees’ for Target Plus Scheme 2004-05 and Duty Credit scrips (under Target Plus Scheme 2004-05) which have been already issued shall be deemed to be amended to this extent.

This issues in Public interest.
