Import of desiccated coconut with CIF value of Rs.150/-and above per Kilogram is ‘Free’ and import below CIF value of Rs. 150/- per Kilogram is ‘Prohibited’.- Notification No. 40/2015-2020 Dated: 8th January, 2020.

New Delhi, Dated: 8th January, 2020

Subject: Amendment in import policy and incorporation of Policy condition under HS code 0801 11 00 of Chapter 8 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule — I (Import Policy).

S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends import policy of desiccated coconut under HS code 0801 11 00 of Chapter 8 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule — I (Import Policy) and incorporates policy condition as under:

Effect of the Notification: Import of desiccated coconut with CIF value of Rs.150/-and above per Kilogram is ‘Free’ and import below CIF value of Rs.150/- per Kilogram is ‘Prohibited’.

This issues with the approval of Minister of Commerce & Industry.
