NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th April, 2002
S.O. 440 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby specifies the following institution to be a public financial institution and for that purpose makes the following amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) number S.O. 1329 dated 8th May, 1978,namely:-
In the said notification, after entry 38 the following entry shall be inserted, namely:-
“39. National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD)”.
