Alterations in Schedule II under powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 641 of the Companies Act 1956

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi,  the 17th September, 2002

G.S.R.650(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 641  of the Companies Act 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following further alterations in Schedule II to the said Act, namely:-

1. This notification shall come into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the said Schedule, in Part III,  for the Declaration after the Note, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“Declaration: That all the relevant provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, and the guidelines issued by the Government or the guidelines issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India established under section 3 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, as the case may be, have been complied with and no statement made in prospectus is contrary to the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 or the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 or  rules made thereunder or guidelines issued, as the case may be.”
