CA Articleship – A period of 3 years

After clearing CA Exams of Intermediate or joining CA as direct entry mode, students need to comply with this tenure of 3 years as articleship.

Yes, the question is important for all students. Many questions arise in minds regarding this journey from where we start. This is a big question. Before joining articleship students also completed the Orientation program and Information Technology Training that is also good because this training is provided by our Dear ICAI in any branch.

Now the game starts with every student. They think about CA firms (Midsize, Partnership, Big or Big4) so that they can get a good quality of exposure. But I feel that if any students join a small firm then also h/she can get full exposure. Only need to know their need that where they find in the future.

If I say about our CA curriculum many students don’t think about this that what is articleship and what it needs. But now they need to know about it. This information is summarized below which can be helpful for all articles who want to be a success in life and utilize this path.

1. Read the Training guide provided by ICAI or download it from the website completely. Your training is divided into two parts viz. In- house Training and practical training.

2. When you enroll for articleship then you’re are also registered as a member of the CA Students Association for 3 years which is the best platform for personal Relations (PRs) which is the need for present scenarios.

3. Participate in CA Students Conferences by presenting your papers and get an opportunity to be a public speaker.

4. Try to increase your writing quality and write articles in different CA Students Journals published by ICAI and different branches of ICAI and also on different websites.

5. Attend Seminars for enhancing knowledge. For registration join Student Activity Portal.

6. Register yourself for articleship placement in ICAI Articleship & Industrial Training Placement Platform.

7. For CA Students events keep visiting CA Students Events.

8. Utilize your knowledge by joining Study Circle arrange by different branches of ICAI.

9. And also try to learn different aspects of IT knowledge i.e. Excel, Word, Access, Tally, SAP, ERP, etc in primary to advance level.

10. Utilize your studies in your practical field if not get opportunity you can try it in your In house training, it will boost your knowledge and help you to excel in your expectations.
