It has had brought to notice that Aadhaar card is being made mandatory for availing government benefits like subsidized LPG, PDS supplies and pensions. The process relating to generation & issuance of registration certificates for applications made for registration of trademarks has been fully automated. Accordingly, from 1st august 2016 the registration certificates will be generated through an automated system in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Trade Marks Act & Rules and made available to the applicants concerned or their authorised agents on record, in respect of all trademark applications-

Broadly, combination under the Act means acquisition of control, shares, voting rights or assets, acquisition of control by a person over an enterprise where such person has direct or indirect control over another enterprise engaged in competing businesses, and mergers and amalgamations between or amongst enterprises when the combining parties exceed the thresholds set in the Act.
