—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (l ) of Section 2I0A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of_1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of Government of India, in the Ministry of Company Affairs, published in the Gazette of India,
A. A summons, notice issued by the Board under these regulations may be served in the manner provided in regulation 22 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
This circular is issued in exercise of powers conferred under Section 11 (1) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, read with the provisions of Regulation 77 of SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations.
The consent order shall be published through a press release and put on SEBI’s website. In cases where a Party undertakes compliances as per agreed schedule, the concerned department in SEBI shall monitor the same.
Consist of transmission and reception hardware such as transceivers, antenna, microphone, speaker, battery, radio-frequency chip, basic band chip, power management chip, Subscriber Identity Module (SIM), International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) or other unique identity for cellular/mobile phone as well as radio-frequency transmission software such as GSM, General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) and Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE) etc.,
Attention is invited to the Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act, 2006 wherein section 37E has been inserted in the Central Excise Act, 1944. This provision empowers the Central Government to publish information relating to the names of the assessees or any other particulars relating to any proceedings or prosecution under the Central Excise Act, 1944 in respect of such persons, if it is considered necessary and expedient in the public interest to do so.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ additions/deletions/corrections in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended from time to time.
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies annual supplement of the Handbook of Procedures (Volume I) incorporating Annual Supplement as updated on 19th April 2007 as contained in annexure to this Public Notice and the Appendices to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I) as available on the website of Directorate General of Foreign Trade at http:// dgft.gov.in. This shall come into force from 1st April, 2007.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009,(as amended from time to time), the Central Government hereby makes following amendment with immediate effect in Paragraph 3 of Notification No. 15 (RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 27.06.2006.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.2 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby notifies the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 incorporating the Annual Supplement as updated on 19th April 2007 and contained in Annexure to this notification.
