The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification extending the anti-dumping duty on imports of Fluoroelastomers (FKM) from China. This extension follows a review initiated by the designated authority on June 16, 2025. The review, conducted under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and related rules, assesses the need to continue the existing duty. The original anti-dumping duty was imposed on November 27, 2020, to address the dumping of these goods into the Indian market. With this amendment, the duty will now remain in effect until February 26, 2026. The government retains the right to revoke, supersede, or amend this duty before the new expiration date. This action ensures the duty continues while the review process is underway.
