Subject : Admission of proof of Export – Expeditious –

It has been brought to the notice of the board that there have been inordinate delays in acceptance of proof of exports in the cases where exports are being effected under Bond. As a result, a lot of funds of the exporters are blocked.

2. The Board desires that the acceptance of proof of export should be taken up on priority. A special drive should be initiated for liquidating the pendencies as an export facilitation measure. Fresh requests for acceptance of proof of export should be disposed of within 15 days of the receipt. In cases where any discrepancies are noticed it should be brought to the notice of the exporter for rectification and if such rectification is not possible, the mater should be dealt with in accordance with Central Excise Rules, 1944 expeditiously.
