The Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Third Amendment Rules, 2019 have been notified w.e.f 25th July 2019.

As per the said notification:

i)┬аeForm DIR-3 KYC┬аis to be filed by an individual who holds DIN and is filing his KYC details for the first time or by the DIN holder who has already filed his KYC once in eform DIR-3 KYC but wants to update his details.

ii)┬аWeb service DIR-3-KYC-WEB┬аis to be used by the DIN holder who has submitted DIR-3 KYC E-form┬аin the previous financial year and no update is required in his details.

In Last F.y. 2017-18, Ministry of corporate affairs introduced a new form DIR-3 KYC with a provision that every director of an indian company ( Company Registered under Companies Act 2013/1956) shall submit their KYC with the form DIR-3 KYC , if any director does not compliance this rule then his director identification number (DIN) will get disapproved and he will not be able to act as director in any company until he will not submit the form DIR-3 KYC with penalty of Rs. 5000/-. and this form have to file for every F.y in due date.

this time this form again introduced for the F.Y. 2018-19 and have to submit upto 30th sep 2019 otherwise there will be penalty of Rs. 5000/-.

Those director who have already filed this form for the f.y. 2017-18 and dont want to update any information (Mobile Number, Mail Id etc. ) then there is a relaxation by the government to file this form, They dont need to file this form again and have to go through a simple process to confirm the earlier details through the DIR-3 KYC web Form.

This Process is also to be done upto 30th Sep 2019.
