The Uttar Pradesh Government has decided to abolish various affidavits which were required to be notarized for various schemes in departments of State Government. Self declaration/Self attestation by the applicant will suffice the purpose. This will also be applicable for various declarations required in UPVAT Act, 2008.

    it is realty good step of UO government towards good governence. But due to lack of knowledge most of Up state official still demanding for affidavit.
    in this regrd clear innstrucions shoul be brought in notice of all concerned to stop such practice by officials.
