Direct Entry to Chartered Accountancy Course
This is to inform all concerned that with the issuance of the Notification No. 1-CA(7)/145/2012 on August 1, 2012, the provisions relating to Direct Entry Scheme for Graduates/Post Graduates, etc., with prescribed percentage of marks, to the Chartered Accountancy Course have come into force from August 1, 2012. The said Notification is reproduced hereinbelow for information of all concerned.
Interested persons/students, i.e., freshers and existing students are advised to watch for the details of registration formalities and of transitional scheme including fee payable, registration form which will be announced/published by around August 16, 2012.

hello sir i m b.com 55 percentage but 50 marks per paper .icai said this is pending for approval.so far as the concern of commerce i studies all 10 notified paper of 50 marks each in 3 years graduation degree.so wheather we r commerce stream or not in the eyes of icai.or how long time this proposal will take for approval because we r already started articleship under direct entry scheme.most universites in india gives marks out of 50,75 in central universites so why it is……………..while we r commerce graduates.
dear sir, please notify me that who is doing commerce graduate courses of final year and have already registered for CPT courses and failed in appearing the exam,what is the provision regarding the admission into CA courses?

As per the amended provisions if any person
1. who has completed his/her graduation in Commerce course with 55% or above OR
2. who has completed his/her graduation in Non commerce course with 60% or above
He/she shall be eligible to get into the CA Course without appearing in CPT Examination,
Since you have scored 65%, you are eligible to get entry into CA Course without CPT

i m done bcom from mdu university with 65% marks & mba in finance & hr frrom mdu university with 75.32% marks.please inform me that can i do ca without giving cpt exam.
