Import of pepper over and above CIF Rs. 500/ per kilogram is free and import below CIF Rs. 500/ is prohibited. Amendment in import policy and policy condition of pepper classified under Chapter 09 of ITC (HS), 2017–Schedule-1(Import Policy).
The MEIS benefit is notified for ‘Bengal-gram’ under ITC (HS) code 07132000 for a period of 3 months for exports made from the date of this Public Notice. Further, the entry pertaining to HS Code 07132000 is placed at Annexure to Public Notice No.62 dated 16.02.2018 for processing of MEIS applications

E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 in relation to import and export are reproduced below: Rule 2 Application: These rules shall apply to every manufacturer, producer, consumer, bulk consumer, collection centers, dealers, e-retailer, refurbisher, dismantler and recycler involved in manufacture, sale, transfer, purchase, collection, storage and processing of e-waste or electrical and electronic equipment listed in Schedule I, including their components, consumables, parts and spares which make the product operational but shall not apply to –
Exporter who exported from JNPT and not received export refund due to mismatch details may approach JNPT from 15.03.2018 to 29.03.2018
i) Once importer declares their intention to use DEPB Scrip, during the filing of the Bill of Entry, he will not be allowed to change that option during assessment stage. ii) If the duty payable as per the Bill of Entry is more than whole amount available in the DEPB scrip, then whole amount available in the DEPB scrip needs to be used for payment of duty.
