Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued Notification No. 23/2024-25, dated August 16, 2024, amending the export policy for De-Oiled Rice Bran. Under this notification, and in accordance with the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, the export of De-Oiled Rice Bran is prohibited until January 31, 2025. This amendment revises the earlier notification (No. 76/2023) by extending the export ban, which initially applied until July 31, 2024. The updated policy affects various ITC(HS) codes related to De-Oiled Rice Bran, including those for bran, oil-cake, and oil-cake meal. This measure is part of the central government’s regulatory actions to manage trade under Chapter 23 of Schedule-II of the Foreign Trade Policy.

Subject: Amendment in Export Policy of Dc-Oiled Rice Bran -reg
S.O. (E). — In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby, in amendment of the earlier Notification No. 76/2023 dt. 15th March 2024, makes the following changes in Export Policy conditions under Chapter 23 of Schedule-II (Export Policy):
