Rate of Drawback- Normally, drawback may be allowed as per All Industry Rate fixed by DoR in the Drawback Schedule where no CENVAT credit has been availed by supplier of goods. However, an application in ANF- 7A, along with documents prescribed in ANF-7A & Appendix-7E, may be made to RA or DC concerned, as the case may be, for fixation of brand rate where All Industry Rate of Drawback is not available or same is less than 4/5th of duties actually paid on raw materials or components used in the production or manufacture of the said goods.

The Trade has reported that the bill of entry are not getting registered in Docks because of problem related to system. Therefore, keeping in view the problem related to system that the bill of entry are not getting registered for examination of goods, it has been decided that the docks officer will give permission for seal cutting and will also examine the goods without registering the bill of entry in the system in all the cases where duty has already been paid.
Verification from the PAO/e-PAO office regarding double/multiple payments for the same Bill of Entry of the amount to be refunded as also being reported by the banks in the scroll for transfer to RBI;
