Verify online notice/order issued by the Income Tax Department Now Taxpayer can verify notice/order issued by the Income Tax Department online quickly before proceed to response of notice/order.
Step: – 1. Go to https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home and click on Notice/Order Issued by ITD
Step: – 2. Taxpayer can search/verify the notice or order is issued by the income tax department in following ways:
Option 1: – Search by Document Number (For all Assessment years): Taxpayer can search by the document number by filing notice/order number wise. See screenshot:-
Option 2: -Tax payer can search & verify the notice or order by PAN Document Type, Assessment year & Date of issue (For all Assessment years 2011-12 and subsequent years only. See screenshot.
