Setting up of National Faceless Assessment Centre (NaFAC) under sub-section (3) of section 144B of the Income-tax Act. 1961 -reg
res In pursuance of sub-section (3) of section l44B of the Income-tax Act, 1961 and in partial modification of the Office Order – 1 of even number dated 31.03.2021, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) hereby directs that the words “Principal Commissioners of Income-tax (ReFAC) (Technical Unit)’ in Para 3 of the said Order shall be replaced with the words ‘Principal Commissioners of Income-tax (Technical Unit)’.
2. This order shall come into force with effect from the 06th day of June, 2022.
3. This issues with the approval of Chairperson, CBDT.
