With the release of new version of FVU NSDL has made a new begining by accepting e-TDS/TCS returns online from to-day. New version of FVU now auto generates Form 27A in PDF.
TIN_FCs would now be hard pressed to meet chalanges on Peak Days as the fate of server of NSDL would decide how fast one can login and accept return. Online acceptance is bound to reduce process time of statements and now onward the processing of statements is expected to be faster than earlier.

CORRECTION REQUIRED OF 24Q-1819 (SALARY)
Sir,
While filing 26Q / 27Q for F.Y. 2012-13, the date of deduction of Tax was wrongly entered with date of payment of tax and vice versa. After realising the mistake, the NSDL Consol file is down loaded and tried to rectify the same but, it is not accepting the correction.
We have also tried as per the latest version Fvu 4.1 & 2.137 to make the amount as ZERO but in vain.
Would you please suggest the correct procedure of carrying out the above said correction.

Fvu 4.1 & 2.137 is very easy to use and can now adjust any challan for two section and also generation of Form No.27A.It is time saving. For correction statement Form No.27A generates in respect several type of corrections.But there was one problem where deductee cannot be deleted in correction statement
