In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2)(b) of section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies the following temples to be places of public worship of renown throughout the State of Jammu & Kashmir :—
1. Shri Vaishno Devi Ji situated in the Trikuta Hill in Jammu. 2. Shri Raghunath Ji Temple Complex, Jammu. 3. Shri Ranbireshwar Temple, Jammu. 4. Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine in Kashmir. 5. Shrine of Bhagwati Khirbhawani situated in village Tulamulla in Kashmir. 6. Shrine of Bhagwati Sharika near Hari Parbat Fort, Srinagar.
