    Dear Sir,

I am an NRI and my income by interest in my NRO account is not more than Rs.25,000/-

This article I received on 17/6/2018 which states that NRI’s are not applicable to to use ITR-1 for AY 2018-19. But I have already filed my returns on 05/06/2018 and the same is electronically verified.

Will this return be treated as disqualified. Please advise.

    Thanks and regards

I am eligible to file ITR 1 return, however UNDER INCOME FROM HOUSE PROPERTY my tenant has deducted TDS even when monthly rent is less than Rs 50,000/- per month. The tenant has TAN and not PAN. How do I file the return? Please advise.

  6. GANDHI MOHAN BHARATI says:

As ITR 1 is a annexure less form, I am NOT in agreement that Proof of Exemptions is needed. One must have it to prove if required. Similarly, Form 16 is NOT a MUST, if you have correct details.
Required Documents is only to ensure correctness
