Madam/ Sir,
Sub: Allotment of DDO Codes consequent to restructuring as GST Commissionerates w.e.f 1.07.2017-reg.
Consequent upon the reorganization of the field formations on introduction of GST w.e.f 1.07.2017, the GST Commissionerates are to be allocated new DDO codes by the Chief Controller of Accounts (CBEC).
2. All the Budgetary Authorities in the field formations of CBEC have been requested vide DGHRD letters dated 14th July,2017 & 20th July, 2017 to furnish the details of the new DDOs in the reorganized formations under their charge so that the Salary and other bills can be processed online. However the following formations are yet to provide the said information up til date.

3. Meanwhile, in view of the information still awaited from the above cited few formations, the Office of the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts, CBEC has informed that the DDO codes in the erstwhile Central Excise 8s Service Tax formations may be referred to for payment of Salary for the month of JULY, 2017. The concerned PAO may be contacted and advised accordingly.
4. It is, therefore, requested that the requisite information covering the details of the DDO in the reorganized formations listed above may please be forwarded to this office through e-mail to meenuhrd12@gmail.comin the prescribed format by today evening.
