Notification No. 21/2006 – Central Excise (N.T.)

GSR. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 3 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 14/2002-Central Excise ( N.T.), G.S.R.182 (E) dated the 8th March, 2002, namely:

In the said notification, in Table I, after Sl. No.23 and the entries relating thereto in column (2) and (3), the following shall be inserted, namely: –

“24 Large Taxpayer Unit All Commissioners of Central Excise”

In the said notification, in Table IA, after Sl. No.23 and the entries relating thereto in column (2) and (3), the following shall be inserted, namely: –

“24 Large Taxpayer Unit All Commissioners of Central Excise (Appeals)”

In the said notification, in Table II, after Sl. No.92 and the entries relating thereto in column (2) and (3), the following shall be inserted, namely:-

“93 Large Taxpayer Unit Through out the territory of India”

In the said notification, in Table III, after Sl. No.74 and the entries relating thereto in column (2) and (3), the following shall be inserted, namely:

“75 Large Taxpayer Unit All Commissioners of Central Excise”

Note: The principal notification No. 14/2002-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 8th March, 2002 was published vide number G.S.R. 182 (E), dated the 8th March, 2002 and was last amended by Notification No. 01/2006-CE ( N.T.), dated 3rd January, 2006 vide number G.S.R, 4 (E), dated the 3rd January, 2006.
