Notification No. 86/2012-Customs (N.T.)

New Delhi, the 26th September, 2012.

S.O.    (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby imposes on the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on –

(i)  the Additional / Joint Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad;

(ii) the Additional / Joint Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Kandla; and

(iii) the Additional / Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Tal: Uran, Distt. Raigad, Maharashtra,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Aries Dye-Chem Industries, C-1/260, Phase-II, GIDC Vatva, Ahmedabad and others, issued vide, F.No.DRI/AZU/INV-6/2010 dated the 14th August, 2012, by the Joint Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
