Notification No. 81/2007-Customs (N.T.)

S.O.  (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise, Thane – I to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on the Commissioner of Customs, (Preventive), Mumbai, for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Umaji Overseas, 1398, Madanlal Gupta Compound, Asbibi Road, Bhiwandi, District- Thane and M/s Harihar Fibre, 20, Naviwadi, Ground Floor, Room No. 6, Dadi Seth Agiary Lane, Chira Bazaar, Mumbai issued, vide, F.No. SIU/II-19/2001/294, dated the 29th July, 2005, by the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), New Customs House, Mumbai.
