Notification No. 2/2008-Customs (N.T.)

S.O.  ………(E) – In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 62/94 (NT) – Customs, dated 21st November, 1994, published in the Gazette of India vide number S.O. 829 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994, namely:-

In the said notification, in the TABLE, against serial number 8 relating to Maharashtra, in Column 3, against item (6) relating to Redi,  in column (4), for entries (a) and (b), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

    (1)       (2)        (3)                                (4)

“(a) Loading and Unloading of crew baggage; and

(b) Loading of following goods for export, namely:-

(i) metallurgical coke/coal

(ii) iron ore

(iii) bauxite ore.”

Note – The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, vide notification No.62/94-Customs (N.T.) dated 21st November, 1994 {S.O. No.829 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994 and was last amended by notification no.96-2007-Customs (N.T.), dated the 14th September, 2007 { S.O. No. 1547 (E), dated the 14th September, 2007}.
