Subject: Revised SOP for applying + F Endorsement certificate for Fortified Food products in FoSCoS- reg.
FSSAI vide Order number 45/+F logo/FFRC/Fortification/FSSAI-2019 dated 12th April 2021 issued SOP regarding the provision for applying +F endorsement of processed food products made in the Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS) as per the Food Safety and Standards (Fortification of Food) First Amendment Regulations, 2020 [copy is enclosed].
2. To remove the ambiguity regarding the food products which can be fortified as per Food Safety and Standards (Fortification of Food) Regulation, 2018 and subsequent Amendment Regulations, 2020, a list of identified products has been created and made available in FoSCoS for + F endorsement. The list of products is given under Annexure -I.
3. The user manual for applying for + F endorsement is available on the FoSCoS website under the user manual section (https://foscos.fssai.gov.in/user-manual).
4. This issues with the approval of Competent authority.
