Dear Readers, in the era of Digitalization, now the government is releasing government grants to NGO’s through Electronic Approval mode so that the government can release funds for the Social welfare to the deserving NGO’s in rapid and corruption-free mode. Please note that eligible NGO have to apply online for getting E-Anudaan from the government. For applying to E-Anudaan, the primary condition is that, you must have NGO (Society/Trust/Section -8 Company) and which is also registered under Niti Aayog.

For general awareness purposes, I have already written an article, explaining the benefits & Eligibility criteria of Niti Aayog registration. Please note that e-Anudaan is an initiative by the Ministry Of Social Justice And Empowerment to enable Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) to register online and log in to apply for Grant-in-aid to help implement various schemes of the Ministry.E-Anudaan Yojana

Mandatory Requirements for E- Anudaan Registration

♦ Unique Id Generated from Niti Aayog

♦ PAN Card Number of NGO

♦ OTP Received on your Mobile/mail

♦ After Successful validation of data, create your User Id and Password

♦ Select your concerned area of Social Welfare Scheme from the dropDown List

♦ Select Your Area (States) of working

Action which may be taken after E- Anudaan Registration

♦ Fill online Form for Receiving the Government grant from Ministry

♦ Track Status of your Filed Application

♦ Add/View Bank Details

♦ Add Beneficiary Detail of the Scheme

FAQ’s on E-Anudaan

Q 1. I am running an NGO but the same is not registered Under Niti Aayog. Whether I can directly apply under E-Anudaan?

Ans : Registration under Niti Aayog (NGO Darpan) is mandatory.

Q 2. I am registered under Niti Aayog and E-Anudaan. When will I get Government Grants?

Ans : Registration under Niti Aayog and E-Anudaan does not mean that you will get government grants. After registration, you have to apply online for the Government grant through login into the E-Anudaan portal. Concerned Ministry will verify your application and if satisfied then issues grants as per their Criteria.

Q 3. Our NGO gets registered under E-Anudaan a few years back. Now our Governing body members have changed. Whether I have to update my Governing body details on these portals?

Ans : Yes, as and when your Governing body changes, you must update their details on these portals.

Q 4. If our NGO receives any funding from Government and the same is not utilized for the purpose for which it is allotted. Whether any action can be taken again our NGO?

Ans :Yes, if the funds are not utilized as per norms then the concerned department will take necessary action against the NGO and concerned NGO will be marked as Blacklisted NGO on NGO Darpan.

Q 5. After registration under these portals, whether there are any annual compliances?

Ans :After registration under these portals, there is no such annual compliances, however, you have to maintain updated records of Governing body and provide information of the government grants received, if any.
