The Ministry Of Corporate Affairs Has Issued A General Circular No. 07/2019 Dated: 27.06.2019 And Has Clarified The Following:
Every Person Who Has Already Filed DIR-3 KYC Will Only Be Required To Complete His/hers KYC Through A Simple Web-Based Verification Service, With Pre-Filled Data Based On The Records In The Registry, For Ease Of Verification By The Person Concerned.
However, In Case A Person Wishes To Update His Mobile No. Or E-Mail Address, He Would Be Required To File E-Form DIR-3 KYC, As This Facility Of Updation Is Not Being Proposed In The Web-Based Service. In Case Of Updation In Any Other Personal Detail, E-Form DIR-6 May Be Filed For Updation Of The Same Before Completion Of KYC Through The Web-Based Service.
1. Filing DIR-3 e-KYC for Financial Year 2018-19Â is mandatory even for person who has already filed DIR-3 KYC for the year 2017-18
2. DIR-3 e-KYC for Financial Year 2018-19 is a web based verification process where there no change in mobile no. or e-mail address..
3. In case there is a change in mobile no. or e-mail address, the DIN holder to file e-form DIR-3 KYC also, DIR-6 for updating of change in particulars.
4. This year Due date of filing of both DIR-3 KYC is 30th September.

STEP-1:  LOG IN MCA WEBSITE > MCA SERVICES > DIN SERVICES > CLICK ON DIR – 3 – KYC-WEB
STEP-2: Â MENTION THE DIN –
- If screen saws the mobile and Email for send the OTP. simply Click On the send OTP and verify the same
- If screen saws please file e-form DIR-3 KYC to submit KYC for DIN xxxxxxx for the first time or other reason than file fresh form DIR-3 KYC.

SMS OTP is not working, getting only Email OTP. Tried on 24 to 26th April, bad luck. I had raised a ticket and got Tracking details by SMS from MCA. Looks like Technical error from their end and no one responded to my ticket. Due date is on April 30th, we forced to pay fine because of poor technical team support.
Hi did your SMS issue get resolved ? I am also not getting SMS . I raised service request but their answer is standard like in FAQ .
I am not receiving OTP on mobile, but am receiving it on email. The last 2 digits of the mobile number shown are correct and the mobile number used on the DIR-3 form last year matches that and is correct. How to check the registered mobile number of director? If that is correct what else could be the problem?
