S.O. 1087 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 205C of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby constitutes a Committee consisting of the following persons to administer the Investor Education and Protection Fund and to maintain separate accounts and other relevant records in relation to that Fund in such form as may be prescribed in consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, namely :—


1. T. S. Krishna Murthy, Secretary. Department of Company Affairs –Chairman
2. Ms. Sucheta Dalai, Mumbai —Member
3. N. S. Chopra, Member ITAT (Retd.), New Delhi —Member
4. K.B. Dabke, Chartered Accountant, Mumbai –Member
5. S. Nandagopal, Chartered Accountant, Chennai —Member
6. Manubhai Shah, Managing Trustee. Consumer Education and Research Centre, Ahmedabad —Member
7. A.K. Narayan. President, Tamil Nadu Investors Association, Chennai —Member
8. M.D. Dasari, General Manager, Reserve Bank of India —Member
9. Ashok Kackar, Executive Director, Securities and Exchange Board of India —Member
10. Shri Udaya Bhaskar Nair. Nagpur —Member
11. Shri H. Raja, Chartered Accountant, Karaikudy, Tamil Nadu. —Member

2. The Members of the Committee shall hold office for a period of two years with effect from the date of publication of this notification.
