Amendments in the Para 3.16.1 of FTP 2009-14. Notification No. 84 (RE-2010)/2009-2014, New Delhi, the 31st October, 2011. Notification No 82 (RE – 2010)/2009-2014 Exporters would now be required certify both (a) that the items have been obtained/sourced from an APEDA registered integrated abattoir or from APEDA registered meat processing plant and (b) that the raw material have been sourced exclusively from APEDA registered integrated abattoir/abattoir.
Trade Notice No. 21 On the basis of information available with the DGFT, the following firms are permitted to export the excise verified stock of quantities mentioned against their names (which were manufactured prior to ban):
As per Public Notice No. 59 (RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 30.06.2011, incorporation of barcodes (1 D) encoding unique product identification code (GTIN), Batch Number, Expiry Date and Unique Serial Number of the Tertiary pack (shipper/carton) on export consignments of pharmaceuticals and drugs has come into effect from 01.10.2011.
The only change from the earlier notification no 64 of 4th August 2011 is that documents are to be submitted at HQ office of DGFT. Therefore hard copy of the application alongwith documents as prescribed in Notification number 64 of 4th August 2011 will need to be submitted to DGFT office at Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi by 1700 hours on 28th October 2011, before the allocation is made to eligible applicants. Hard copies of complete application not received by 1700 hours in DGFT office on 28th October 2011 will not be considered for allocation.
The matter has been examined. It is decided that a technical textile is a textile product manufactured for non-aesthetic purposes, where function is the primary criterion. Technical textiles include textiles for automotive applications, medical textiles, geotextiles, agrotextiles and protective clothing like heat and radiation protection for fire fighter clothing, molten metal protection for welders, stab protection and bulletproof vests and spacesuits etc. Accordingly, only 33 items as listed in the Annexure are covered under technical textiles.
Notification No. 80 (RE-2010)/2009-2014 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Schedule 1 (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items.
Prior Permission of RA shall not be required for transfer or disposal of imported goods after a period of two years from the date of import. Transfer of Imported Firearms will not require permission from DGFT (a) after 10 years of import or (b) on attaining the age of 60 years by such importer.
PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 81 /(RE-2010)/2009-2014 In SION No. H-532, H-533, H-534 and H-535 of Plastic Product Group (Product Code H), the description of Import Item ‘Mineral Oil’ is amended to read as “Mineral Oil / Liquid Paraffin. There is no change in the description of Export Product and rest of the Import Items and the in the quantity of import items in above SIONs.
