Due to inadvertence, the figures under the column “ % growth” has been wrongly calculated. The revised Press Release is enclosed herewith for necessary action.

Summary of Revenue Collection upto February 2015
Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) Collections Increase from Rs. 441565 crore in April-February 2014 to Rs. 478630 crore during April-February 2015, thus registering an Increase of 8.4% during April-February 2015 over the corresponding period in the Previous Year.
Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) collections have increased from Rs 441565 crore in April-February 2014 to Rs. 478630 crore during April-February 2015. Thus an increase of 8.4 % has been registered during April-February 2015 over the corresponding period in the previous year. This is an achievement of 88.5 % of the revised target fixed for RE 2014-15.
Customs collections have increased from Rs. 157944 crore during April-February 2014 to Rs. 170943 crore during April-February 2015 registering an increase of 8.2%. This is an achievement of 90.6% of the revised target fixed for 2014-15.
Service Tax collections have increased from Rs. 134201 crore in April-February 2014 to Rs. 145007 crore during April-February 2015 registering an increase of 8.1 %. This is an achievement of 86.2 % of the revised target fixed for 2014-15.
Central Excise collections have increased from Rs. 149420 crore in April-February 2014 to Rs. 162680 crore during April-February 2015 registering an increase of 8.9%. This is an achievement of 88.5 % of the revised target fixed for 2014-15.
