Subject:- Publication of names of lax defaulters in Public Domain- regarding.
Reference is invited to Board’s letter F.No.404/02/2011-ITCC dated 26.09.2014 on the above subject. With the approval of the Competent Authority, it has been decided that the said letter be amended to, herein- after, include the following para, after para 4.3 ibid;
2. ” 4.4 From F.Y.2016-17 onwards, this exercise would be undertaken every year to identify defaulters as on 31st March in cases where undisputed outstanding demand /tax exceeds Rs. 1 crore in all category of cases specified in para 3 for publication of names by 31st July “.
3. This may be brought to the notice of all officers/ officials in your charge for information , necessary action and compliance.
