Notification No. 45/2005-Customs (N.T.)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby  makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No.15/2002-Customs (N.T.),  dated the 7th March, 2002, namely:-

In the said notification, in Table, against serial number 8, in column (2), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

“Port of Tuticorin and the area under the jurisdiction of the revenue District of Tuticorin in the State of Tamilnadu and designated areas in the Continental shelf and Exclusive Economic Zone of India as declared by the Government of India from time to time.”.

The principal notification No. 15/2002-Customs (N.T.), dated the 7th March, 2002 was published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part II, Section 3, sub-section (i), dated the 7th March, 2002, vide, No. G.S.R. 171 (E) and was last amended vide notification No. 4/2004 Cus. (N.T.), dated the 5th January 2004, Published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part II, Section 3, sub-section (i), dated the 5th January, 2004, vide, No. G.S.R.8 (E).
