Notification No. 9/2006-Customs

G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3), read with sub-section (4) of section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.75/2004–Customs, [number G.S.R. 478(E)], dated the 26th, July, 2004, and the Computers (Additional Duty) Rules, 2004, notified vide No. 76/2004-Customs, (number G.S.R. 479(E) ) dated the 26^th July, 2004, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
