Select “Registration”

Click on “Amendment of Registration – Core Fields”

Mention the Reason for Amendment and Date of Amendment

Click on “Save”

Click “Yes” to confirm

Click “Save & Continue”

Select the Declaration checkbox, choose the Authorized Signatory, and enter the Place

Click on “Submit with EVC”

Validate the process by entering the OTP

Important Note:

When you are done with the steps you have to wait for 24 hours for the new contact details to show up in the GSTN system. You have to be patient and give it this day for the GSTN system to update the new contact details.

Part 2: GSTIN Integration with Customs (ICEGATE)

When you update your contact details, in the GSTN system you have to wait for 24 hours. After that you need to connect your GSTIN with Customs. You have to do this step with your GSTIN and Customs to make sure everything is working properly with your GSTIN.

You should give it 24 hours for the new details to show up correctly in the ICEGATE system. This is because the ICEGATE system needs some time to update everything. So wait for 24 hours.
