In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 21/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002, namely.
The principal notification No. 22/2003-Central Excise dated the 31st March, 2003, was issued vide G.S.R. 265 (E), dated the 31st March, 2003 and was last amended by notification No 1/2004-CE dated 2nd January, 2004 vide G.S.R 2(E) dated the 2nd January, 2004.
In exercise of the powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007 and paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures ( Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment/correction in the Schedule of DEPB rate.
