In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development& Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government amends para 2 of Notification No.03(RE-2012)/2009-14 dated 29.06.2012 read with Notification No.57(RE-2013)/2009-14 dated 16.12.2013 with immediate effect .
The provisions of the Act does not apply to acquisitions under 16 existing legislations including the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, the Atomic Energy Act, 1962, the Railways Act, 1989, etc.
Sub-section (iv) of the Section 193 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 stipulates that no tax shall be deducted from any interest payable on any security of the Central Government or a State Government, provided that nothing contained in this clause shall apply to the interest exceeding rupees ten thousand payable on 8% Savings (Taxable) Bonds, 2003 during the financial year.
For group companies to claim benefits or have their exports counted for benefits to be claimed by another member of group, the group company should have been in existence at least 2 years prior to date of application under any of export promotion schemes notified in FTP.

Export of onion for the item description at Serial Number 51 & 52 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import Items shall be permitted subject to a Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 800 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time.

Export of three chemicals namely Dimethylamine Hydrochloride, Sodium Cyanide , Sodium Fluori has been ‘Restricted’. Export of these items would now be permitted under license.
