Restriction on export of three chemicals

Export of three chemicals namely Dimethylamine Hydrochloride, Sodium Cyanide , Sodium Fluori has been ‘Restricted’. Export of these items would now be permitted under license.

Notification No. 56 (RE – 2013)/2009-2014

New Delhi, Dated : 12 December, 2013

Subject:- Restriction on export of certain chemicals.

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government, with immediate effect, restricts export of following chemicals:

1 Dimethylamine Hydrochloride 29211190
2 Sodium Cyanide 28371990
3 Sodium Fluori

2. ITC(HS) Codes mentioned in the above table are indicative. Export of all the 3 item indicated in the above table shall be restricted even if exported under any other ITC(HS) codes.

3. Effect of this notification:

Export of above mentioned three chemicals has been “Restricted”. Export of these items would now be permitted under license.
