Notification No. 144-Income Tax In exercise of powers conferred by clause (xiiia) of sub-section (2) of section 88 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the New Jeevan Akshay-II Plan of the Life Insurance Corporation of India, as filed by that Corporation with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, as the annuity plan
(1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 80/1997-CUSTOMS, dated the 21st October, 1997, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide, G.S.R. No.610(E), dated the 21st October, 1997, hereby exempts goods of the description specified in column

In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007(RE 2003), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2002-2007 published on 31st March, 2002 as amended from time to time.
