As per Para 6.4, whether the time gap of one year between any non-audit works by the SCAs/SAs for the Entities or any audit/non-audit works for its Group Entities has to be ensured for all the Entities in the Group or the RBI Regulated Entities in the Group?
The Chair of the board shall be an independent director. In the absence of the Chair of the board, the meetings of the board shall be chaired by an independent director. The quorum for the board meetings shall be one-third of the total strength of the board or three directors, whichever is higher. At least half of the directors attending the meetings of the board shall be independent directors.

Commercial Banks may pay dividend on equity shares from the profits for the financial year ended March 31, 2021, subject to the quantum of dividend being not more than fifty percent of the amount determined as per the dividend payout ratio prescribed in paragraph 4 of the said circular. Other instructions in the circular dated May 4, 2005 shall remain unchanged.
nvestments-Master Circular permits insurers to invest in Units of listed Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Consequent to Finance Act, 2021 permitting Trusts to issue Debt Securities, the following conditions shall apply to Insurers investing in Debt Securities issued by InvITs / REITs
a. Refund for un-allotted / partial allotted application shall be completed on or before T+1 day (T: Basis of allotment day). b. Registrar to the issue, shall ensure that all data with respect to refund instructions is error free to avoid any technical rejections. Further, in case of any technical rejection of refund instruction, same shall be addressed promptly.
It is clarified by IRDAI that where insurers have an arrangement with the hospitals for providing cashless facility, such network hospitals are obligated to provide cashless treatment for all treatments including treatment for COVID-19.
