Notification No. 93/2015 – Income Tax G.S.R. 978(E) dated 16th December, 2015 A CA certificate in Form No. 15CB will be required to be furnished only in respect of such payments made to non-residents which are chargeable to tax and the amount of payment during the year exceeds Rs. 5 lakh. No Form 15CA and 15CB will be required to be furnished by an individual for remittance which do not requiring RBI approval under its Liberalised Remmittace Scheme (LRS)
The last date of payment of December 2015 installment of advance tax for both corporate and non-corporate taxpayers in the State of Tamil Nadu and Union territory of Puducherry has been extended from 15.12.2015 to 31.12.2015 in view of unprecedented rainfall and floods in these areas.
Revenue Secretary has directed that henceforth any notice/letter/communication issued by any officer under Department of Revenue; including CBDT, its directorates and field formations; to the tax payers, members of public should invariably contain mention of email address and office phone numbers, of the officers signing such, communications/notice/letters for facilitating tax payers’ electronic interface with the Department All are requested to kindly ensure that the above directions are strictly followed.
Notification No. 92/2015 – Income Tax Statement under sub-section (7) of section 115UB. 12CB.(1) The statement of income paid or credited by an investment fund to its unit holder shall be furnished by the person responsible for crediting or making payment of the income on behalf of an investment fund and the investment fund to the- (i) unit holder by 30th day of June of the financial year following the previous year during which the income is paid or credited in Form No. 64C, duly verified by the person paying or crediting the income on behalf of the investment fund in the manner indicated therein; and
F. No. 279/Misc/52/2014-(ITJ) It has now been decided to extend this collegium system to also consider withdrawal of appeals from the high Courts where the same are no longer considered prosecutable. The collegium system existing in multi-CCsIT stations would be responsible for reviewing all appeals pending before the High Courts relating to the jurisdictional CCIT.
Circular No. 21/2015 Henceforth, appeals/ SLPs shall not be filed in cases where the tax effect does not exceed the monetary limits given hereunder: Before Appellate Tribunal- Rs. 10,00,000/-, Before High Court- Rs. 20,00,000/-, Before Supreme Court- Rs. 25,00,000/-.
Notification No. 91/2015 – Income Tax Central Government hereby specifies the HDFC Retirement Savings Fund, set up by the HDFC Mutual Fund registered under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 having registration No. MF/044/00/6, dated the 30th June 2000, as a pension fund for the purposes of the said section for the assessment year 2016-17 and subsequent assessment years.

F.No. 385/26/2015-IT(B) Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby extends the due date [under section 200 (1) of the Act] for paying to the credit of the Central Government, tax deducted at source and the due date [under 206C (3)] for paying to the credit of the Central Government, tax collected at source, in respect of deductions or collections made during the month of November, 2015, from 7th of December, 2015 to 20th of December, 2015 in respect of deductors located in the State of Tamil Nadu.
