Companies Act requires every company to prepare and keep at its registered office, books of account and other relevant books and papers (accounts, deeds, vouchers, writings, documents, minutes and registers maintained on paper or electronic form) and financial statements for every financial year. A board resolution is required and it must be intimated to the Registrar of companies within 7 days if the books of accounts are to be maintained at a place other than the registered office.

Seeking to mobilise idle gold worth up to Rs 60 lakh crore held by households and institutions within country, government proposed a new scheme offering tax-free interest on depositing the yellow metal (Gold) with banks. This scheme will allow the depositors of gold to earn interest in their metal accounts and the jewellers to obtain loans in their metal account. Banks/other dealers would also be able to monetise this gold.
The Maharashtra Stamp Act is amended and Amendment was published in Maharashtra Government Gazette, on the 24th April 2015. Stamp duty on LLP agreement and MOA is amended by Maharashtra Stamp Amendment Act, 2015 notified on 24.04.2015.
