Policy Circular No.9 (RE2005)/2004-09 dated 14.06.2005 has clarified, and it is being made explicit herein, that a shipment shall be taken into account of applicants’ export performance only if export proceeds are received in free foreign exchange by applicant directly from overseas.
The total quantity of import of marble mentioned in Para 2 (III) of Policy Circular No.01 (RE-07)/2004-2009) dated 26.7.2007 shall be amended to read as 1.4 lakh MT for the year 2007-08. This quantity does not include the unallocated quota of the previous year, i.e. 2006-07.
The period for discharge of export obligation against advance authorisations (erstwhile licences) issued for Export of Sugar stands automatically extended for one year (without payment of Composition Fee) w.e.f the date on which their export obligation period expires provided the export obligation period did not expire prior to 19-4-2007.
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following addition in the list of Export Promotion Councils/ Commodity Board given under Appendix-2 of the Hand Book of Procedure.
In view of the clear intention of Transitional Arrangements and nature of standby letters of credit, brought out above, it is clarified that while examining the documents submitted by applicant under Para 1.5 of FTP, it needs to also be ensured that the payments for exports covered under the documents are routed and deducted through the concerned commercial letter of credit and not from some other accounts/channels.
The foreign manufacturers intending to export cement to India under above exemption are required to make application to Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Government of India, for grant of exemption from standard mark under proviso to Section 3 of Cement (Quality Control) Order, 2003.
Para 3.9.6 and Para 3.10.6 of FTP (RE2006) inserted vide Notification No.9 (RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 13.6.2006 and Notification No.41 (RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 17.1.2007 is deleted. This deletion is w.e.f. 13.6.2006 & 17.1.2007 respectively.

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby announces the All Industry Rate of Drawback of Rs. 1160/- per MT for both HSD and Furnace Oil, supplied by Domestic Oil Companies under various Schemes as contained in Chapters 4,6 and 8 of the Foreign Trade Policy, with immediate effect and until further orders.
