Notification No. 54(RE-2010)/2009-14 of 07.06.2011 had permitted export of specified quantities of Stone Aggregates to Maldives for the years 2011-12, 2012-13 & 2013-14. This was stopped till further notice vide Notification No. 34 (RE-2012)/2009-14 dated 08.02.2013. Now Notification No. 34 (RE-2012)/2009-14 dated 08.02.2013 is being withdrawn.
The Standard Input Output Norms (SION) for export product under S.No. A-2611 have been reviewed. There is no change in either description of the export product or in the permitted inputs, but the respective quantities of permitted inputs have been revised downwards.
Based upon the above information, a decision will be taken by DGFT (Hqrs). Authorizations will be issued from Jurisdictional RA on clearance from DGFT (Hqrs) and on submission of application in ANF 2 D by the applicant.

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992, as amended, read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14 the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in respect of Sl. No. 179 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items.

For group companies to claim benefits or have their exports counted for benefits to be claimed by another member of group, the group company should have been in existence at least 2 years prior to date of application under any of export promotion schemes notified in FTP.
Views/suggestions/comments on the request contained in para 2 above are solicited. While submitting such feed-back, care may be taken also to suggest how to count fulfillment of Export Obligation because the resultant product of such capital good, i.e. ‘power’ is mostly not exportable per-se. Similarly, how a common service provider installing power equipments would fulfill Export Obligation may also be conveyed.
Manufacturers of export products covered under above SIONs and the concerned Export Promotion Councils should submit production and consumption data as soon as possible but not later than Friday, the 31st January, 2014 so that such a review is taken up. Failure to provide the data, so required by the date so specified would result in stoppage of the benefit of Advance Authorisation / DFIA for export products covered by these SIONs.
Export of onion for the item description at Serial Number 51 & 52 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import Items shall be permitted subject to a Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 800 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time.
