MEMORANDUM
With reference to his/her application for recruitment to the post of Inspector of Income Tax in CBDT on the basis of Combined Graduate Level Examination 2019, the candidate selected as Inspector of Income Tax in CBDT is directed to indicate/exercise his/her preferences, in order of priority for allotment of 18 regions under Income Tax Department (CBDT) all over the country, in the enclosed format. The PREFERENCE FORMAT duly filled/complete in all respects, may be sent URGENTLY BY SPEED POST/REGISTERD POST or COURIER/ BY HAND or PERSONALLY so as to reach it latest or positively by 27.06.2022 at the following address:

2. Candidate is cautioned that if, for any reasons, he/she fails or does not indicate his/her preferences in said FORMAT for whatever reasons by 06.2022 the REGION/STATE will be allotted to him/her, on the basis of merit-cum-preference, by this Directorate and NO REQUEST for change of allotted region will be entertained at any stage of recruitment. The option once exercised shall be final and will not be allowed to be changed.
3. Further in this regard, candidates are directed to opt/indicate all the 18 preferences in the preference form.
