With the Income tax due dates approaching near, everyone is geared up for the upcoming filing season with the motto in the mind that
Due Dates Are Closer Than They Appear
But few technical and portal problems are listed out which are faced while doing the e-filing work and tasks. There has been times when the same form is filed by someone and the same form is not being filed by the other person. The Portal is responsive to someone and silent for someone.
Few of the problems listed out are as below which calls for immediate resolution or for extension of the return filing dates:
1. Problem while downloading of Form No. 26AS
2. Problem while sending OTPs for various validation
3. OTPs not going simultaneously on the registered mobile number and e-mail id within the same time frame for PAN registeration

Other Reconciliation Time Outs:
1. The Recently Introduced AIS just around a month back necessitates the task of collecting more information and more reconciliation to make filing process smooth and without errors. This is calling for more time investment by the assessee’s and the professionals and making the process slower than the usual.
2. Similarly, the recently introduced TIS has called for new compliances and verifications and reconciliations for the taxpayers and the professionals which is again asking for more than usual time for which no one was geared up.
It is requested and prayed to extend the time lines due to the problems listed above so that the income tax returns are filed with due tax compliances and with all the reconciliations so that the processing of income tax returns will be error free which will ultimately save lots of time of the taxpayers, professionals and the administration.

The problems which u have mentioned r still on the new portal, so the authorities have to look on it and extend the date further.
AIS information does not make sense figures do not match with bank statements . For example dividends given as dividend income in AIS is almost double of actual recd in bank which is matching with figures from companies also. But my auditor made me pay tax also for dividends not recd but reported in AIS
75 days passed to file ITR but refund is still awaited.
120 days have passed from filing the return for AY 2021-22..refund of 17000 not received yet.. Why so late
In depreciation schedule depreciation if not charged due non user during year wdv is still reduced and carried forward to next year. Flaw is not taken care.
In two of my clients when we upload the job file return could not be able to ITR as system show error that name. mitch match grievances Lodge also emailed at e-filing webmanager but no response. ITR in earlier, AY 20-21,up to was efiled. MORE than three months expired but no solution till date
1. The department has first raised demand and then send refund.
2. Demand paid but it is still outstanding under my PAN even after 2 months.
3. Grievances raised need prompt disposal.
TDS deducted by union bank of india is 43739/- but not reflected in 26AS form

My HUF return is being filed by my CA but he is unable to validate sb account number of the bank on portal.It takes a lot of time,rather days to file a itr2 return due to new portal maintained by INFOSYS AND IT’S NOT ACCOUNTABLE ALSO.HENCE THE FINANCE MINISTER MRS. SITHA RAMAN SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO IT AND GIVE DIRECTIONS TO CBDT CHAIRPERSON TO EXDEND TIME FOR FILING OF RETURNS AND ULTIMATUM TO INFOSYS.YOUR WORRIES ARE RIGHT AND IN THE ABSENCE OF NON-EXTENSION OF TIME, THE UNFILED RETURNS WILL MAKE THE WHOLE PROCESS A PROBLEM NOT TO BE SOLVED AND LOSS TO EXCHEQUER.
IN MY CASE, RS 45734/- WAS DEDUCTED AS TDS. THIS IS SHOWN IN FORM 26 AS BUT THE SAME IS NOT SHOWN IN AIS?

Error in E-filing IT returns inspite of validation successful persistent error reappears on the screen while proceeding for verification indicating some problem with a direction to try later I am doubtful the problem will not be solved before 31.12.2021 give importance to error correction extension of due date for IT returns submission is needed

This new IT portal has created more and more problems for filing rather than making it easier.If an assessee has tds from various parties each time we have to select the concerned party’s account as well as nature of business in order to confirm the same,imagine if tds is deducted by 100 parties we need to go back and forth each and every time I.e.100 times to confirm the same,as if we do not have anyother work to do,lots and lots of time consuming,eventhough aadhar and pan are linked the portal shows its not linked,so when we try to link it,it shows its already linked,now if we try to everify thru Aadhar otp it’s shows its not linked,this portal is making a mockery of the entire system,I don’t know those umpteen number of problems will be resolved in this life.
Every year I help my friends and colleagues to file their ITR and in some cases if someone lost their login password, I didn’t find any difficulty in setting the login password, but this is the first time I am confronting with the problem of setting my own log in password. I think the new IT software was not examined properly beforehand.

First time in my life I am horrofued in filing the returns. Usually I file my returns much earlier. Thus tine…. I am unable to sleep, though I habmve all the data in hand !
There is no truth as said in the long problem list. Very easy to e-file I am one of the 30 million+ tax filers who successfully filed returns without any hitch.
Infosys and Government put together has really messed up what was smoothly going so far by introducing various things and not making it functional properly. Motive seems to be that The Government will say what is your income and onus is on you to correct it; but we will not permit correction
