Are of the issue of you having to put together many GSTR 2B excel files yourself? I am to present to you a tool which I have put together via VBA macros that does that automation for this boring task and in turn makes your GSTR 2B reconciliation a much easier process!
What does it do?
This Excel tool we have which allows you to combine all of your downloaded GSTR 2B files into one in depth report at the click of a button, no more manual data entry!
How to Use It: Sure. Please provide the text you would like me to paraphrase.
Download GSTR 2B Files: First download all your GSTR 2B reports from the GST portal and put them into a single designated folder on your computer.
Unblock the Excel File: When you open the merge tool for the first time which is an Excel file you will have to unblock it via the file properties. This is a standard security feature for files which are downloaded from the net which in turn enables the macros to run properly.
To Unblock: Right click the Excel file Go to Properties In the General tab which appears look for Security and if present check the Unblock box Click Apply and then Ok.
Open my Excel merging tool.
Go to the “Main Sheet” (see the image which displays a button).
Click on the button that says “Merge All GSTR 2B“.
Select Your Folder: A box will appear which will ask you to choose the folder in which you have saved all of your GSTR 2B files. Choose the right folder and hit OK.
Watch out for Magic! We also put in place a system which will go in to your chosen folder and process all the GSTR 2B files which it finds there. We will put together a new sheet which will have all that data brought together in one easy to use table. You will get a single Excel file which has all your GSTR 2B data consolidated with the proper details and headers.
The combined output sheet will include data from what we have in B2B, B2BA, B2B-CDNR, B2B-CDNRA, ISD, ISDA, IMPG, IMPGSEZ, etc. from your separate GSTR 2B files in a single format.
