IFSCA cautions the public on phishing attempts impersonating IFSCA employees
1. It has come to the attention of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) that a series of phishing attempts have been made that involve fraudulent emails impersonating its senior management. These emails, which appear to originate from IFSCA employees, are being sent from addresses that do not belong to the organization.
2. In this regard, the IFSCA emphasizes that all ofϐicial communications with regulated entities only occurs through email addresses with email domain @gov.in. Any correspondence claiming to be from IFSCA employees using different domain names should be treated as suspicious and ignored.
3. The IFSCA encourages everyone to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of any unexpected emails, particularly those requesting personal or ϐinancial information.
