PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 52 (RE-00)/ 1997-2002

NEW DELHI, the  9th January ,2001

In exercise of  powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II Section 3, Sub section (ii) vide S.O. No.283(E) dated 31.03.1997, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Handbook (Vol 1).(RE-00), 1997-2002.

The following shall be amended in the Appendix 28 A:-

Intravenous infusions of bulk drugs for which specific DEPB rates have been notified

Note:- (a) This rate is applicable only for those formulations i.e injections/ syrups/ oral suspensions/ tablets/ capsules for which no specific DEPB rates have been notified.

(b) For the above formulations of two or more bulk drugs, the DEPB rate admissible will be as per Policy Circular No: 20 (RE-00)/ 2000-2001, dated 31.07.2000.

70% of the DEPB rate for the relevant bulk drug except in case of formulations covered at S.No 37A  
539 Metal fitted/ Bonded/ Un-bonded rubber part (Moulded/ Extruded) included Engine Mounting and Automotive Part 16.00
